During the month of Ramadan, the streets of cities and popular markets are witnessing a wide spread of street juicy sellers, who offer various drinks at various prices, to meet the needs of fasting people after a long day of abstaining from food and drink.

Fresh juices in Ramadan

The atmosphere of the blessed month of Ramadan differs from the rest of the year, and this difference is reflected in various aspects of life, including the prosperity of fresh juice trade that spreads in the cities and governorates of the Kingdom, to meet the needs of fasting people and reduce burdens on families.
This holy month is witnessing a great demand for the purchase of various fresh juices, especially pomegranate and mango juice, which are widely popular among the fasting people.
The sidewalk juices, as some people like to call, are a Ramadan phenomenon, where sellers compete in providing different colors and flavors of juices.

Silent juices sellers

Al -Miqdad Saeed Al -Asaid, a fresh juice seller, said that he practices this profession every month of Ramadan, starting from the first day until the last day.
He added: “I sell different types of fresh juices, such as beets, pomegranate, pomegranate with beets, avocado, mango, lemon, orange, lemon with mint, dates, carrots, and others. They are all fresh attended daily.”
Al -Asaid confirmed that he sits in the same place every year, and customers come to him to buy his juices. He reveals that he sells more than 160 cans of juice per day, each box contains a liter and a half liter.

Prices and types of juices

On the prices, the Al -Asaid family pointed out that they are selling 6 cans at a price of 100 riyals, noting that the turnout is great and that customers are renewed every day, and they come from different regions, including Qatif.
Shabib Darwish, one of the permanent customers, confirmed that he buys fresh juices from this place regularly, because it is “fresh and delicious.” He added: “I buy it to reduce the burdens on the family in this holy month. The works are many in the kitchen, and these juices are ready and save time and effort.” Pointing out that parents want mango juice and pomegranate, and that it also aims to support and encourage the people of the country.
The customer Qais Al -Fardan indicated that the sale of fresh juices has become an integral part of the atmosphere of Ramadan, and he says: “The sale of fresh juices has become accompanying the holy month of Ramadan, and we do not see this habit in the rest of the months.”
He said: “We buy fresh juices to help the parents, to support and encourage the people of the country. Thank God, all the juices that are sold fresh and clean, and we find many citizens selling these juices in different locations, and each seller has its own customers.”
