Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture visits the Bahrain Real Estate Development Association

Engineer Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, stressed the importance of continuing to strengthen the partnership between the government sector and specialized civil and civil institutions, because of its pivotal role in supporting the paths of economic and urban growth, and upgrading it to more advanced levels.
This came during the visit of the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture to the Bahrain Real Estate Development Association, in the presence of Eng. Aref Ahmed Hajras, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, and a number of officials in the ministry alongside the members of the association, to discuss and discuss the developmental observations aimed at improving the business environment and facilitating procedures for investors and project owners, as well as a number of issues that reflect the commitment of both sides to support economic sectors and enhance confidence in the investment environment and urbanization in Kingdom.
He pointed out the importance of the existing partnership between the ministry and various entities, including the Real Estate Development Association, in supporting urban development efforts and enhancing the business environment for investment projects, expressing his aspiration to expand the horizons of this cooperation through the development of laws regulating in coordination with the association and the relevant authorities, and emphasizing in this context the Ministry’s keenness to simplify licensing procedures, and continuous updating of the legislation concerned with the construction sector.
For his part, Eng. Aref Ahmed Hajras, Chairman of the Bahrain Real Estate Development Association, stressed the importance of continuing coordination and joint cooperation with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, which contributes to supporting the business environment and enhancing urban growth in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as one of the basic tributaries of sustainable development paths. He also noted the qualitative opportunity represented by this meeting to exchange visions, enhance joint cooperation, and the effective response to real estate development requirements.
