«Expo Dubai» opens its doors to companies and individuals with more than 2000 commercial activities

The head of the Free Zone Services Department in «Expo Dubai», Walid Kahur, said that “(Expo Dubai) has become many flexible solutions to companies and individuals alike,” stressing that “the future city now opens its doors to companies and individuals with more than 2000 commercial activities, which is a much higher number of other free zones, including all business and professions around the world.”
Flexible and smart spaces
Kahur added to «Emirates Today»: “As a global free zone, it facilitates (Expo Dubai) smoothly, allowing companies, including those that enter the region for the first time, by establishing, expanding and growing quickly, as the city provides unparalleled up to a global center for innovation and sustainability, and a system in which institutions with a similar thinking to make future make up.”
He added: “The city provides flexible and smart work spaces, including small work spaces, larger offices that include floors and entire buildings, multi -building complexes, options for renting offices on the structure from the inside or fully equipped,” noting that “the offices are equipped with smart measuring devices, and sensors to monitor consumption and energy efficiency, water and air conditioning, with smart mobility solutions.”
Features of the free zone
He pointed out that the most prominent features of the free zone, the availability of flexible solutions for individuals and companies of all sizes, 100%foreign ownership, work visas for a year or two, indicating that competitive and innovative licensing packages include a double license to assist institutions that have a license from the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, and the ease of transporting business smoothly from other free zones.
He referred to the multiple “Expo” licensing package for a period of three years for companies that create long -term projects, and rent areas of more than 250 square meters with one -time fee of 38 thousand dirhams.
Kahur stated that «Expo bouquets for free for a year and two years for individuals supports more than 90 professions, starting from 9,000 dirhams annually, in addition to joint office bouquets, and includes a license and options to add up to four visas.
He explained that the licenses related to self -employment bouquets target creative and free professions around the world, noting that the business packages provided by the city are in line with the Dubai Economic Agency «D33», through the launch of innovative projects that push the wheel of sustainable economic growth, and an ambitious strategy aimed at turning the Emirate of Dubai into a favorite destination for creators from all over the world.
Office space
“About 70% of the available office spaces are currently available in (Expo Dubai), and we expect a greater demand with the launch of business packages to rent the remaining 30% area, in what is being worked on an expansion plan to increase the size of the available office space.”
He stressed that the packages provide an integrated access to all services, either electronically through the “Expo City Dubai” portal or personally at the dealers relations center, including, renting commercial spaces, registration and licensing, free business permits, business administration and events for short -term operations, visa services, facility cards, certificates, reports, certificates, and management of workforce affairs And employees.
Future needs
Kahur indicated that the environmental business system was designed to meet the needs of the future, as the “Expo City” works to combine major companies, business leaders, small, medium and emerging companies, in addition to government, academic and research institutions to establish an ideal environment for cooperation and innovation.
He stressed that «Expo Dubai» is a society that meets the requirements of the future of workplaces, with flexible office spaces of the first degree, including full finishing buildings with brand options, multi -building housing complexes, ready offices, in addition to common work spaces, joint offices, and other flexible work options in the “Future Visions Business Center”, and common work spaces in the “Women’s Pavilion”.
He added that «Expo Dubai» offers various incentives, programs and platforms to enhance partnerships, and to support cooperation between the various sectors between the similar innovative directions, which focus on innovation and sustainability, with an enabling environment and digital platforms that encourage communication and exchange of knowledge and financing, supported by the technologies of the fifth generation, the Internet of things, and smart meters.
Population
“With the readiness of the housing units to move to it in early 2026, the main plan expects to establish a society of about 35 thousand residents, and 40 thousand specialized workers, including more office spaces while developing the Expo Business.”
He added that the city allows the entire business community to reach “Al Wasl Square”, “Expo Waterfalls”, “Terra”, and a large group of places of various events and other cultural and entertainment monuments, near the Dubai Exhibition and Convention Center, which is scheduled to become the largest center for events and exhibitions in the region.
He pointed out that companies have access to green spaces, walking and running paths, in addition to a group of facilities, including cafes, restaurants and hotels, while hotel apartments are scheduled to open in 2025.
A model for a sustainable life .. and the priority of pedestrians
The head of the Free Zone Services Department of «Expo Dubai», Walid Kahur, said that “Expo Dubai” is a model for a sustainable life, and a head of the Dubai Urban Plan 2040, and is served by a dedicated metro station, pointing out that the city gives priority to pedestrians, provides shading to encourage walking, and provides solutions for careful transportation, such as bikes and electric shocks.
He added: “There are more than 100 companies currently operating in (Expo Dubai), and we aim to increase the number significantly with the offering of licensing packages.” He pointed out that the most prominent companies that are based in the city are: Dubai Ports World Group, the creativity center of the Emirates Airlines Group, “Nestle”, “Siemens Energy”, “Siemens Industrial”, “Termino”, “Engy”, And “Fujitik for Healthcare Solutions”, “Kraneh”, and “Live Nation”.
