المملكة: In the colors of the four sides … a new strategy to facilitate the mobility of the Meccan Mosque

The General Authority for Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque launched the first phase of its new strategy to develop the indicative system in the Grand Mosque, by adopting the color coding and metric coding to direct visitors more smoothly and clearly.
The initiative included the division of the Grand Mosque and its arenas into four main areas, based on the four geographical trends, and to define a distinctive color for each side that extends to the central area surrounding the campus, which contributes to improving the flow of movement and facilitating the access of visitors to their destinations through the roads leading to the mosque.

Quality services

The indicative panels were designed according to the criteria approved by the Emirate of Makkah Al -Mukarramah, where the colors link between regions and paths, and are attached to the shares and visual symbols of services, to be understood even for non -Arabic speakers.

These efforts come within the framework of the authority’s endeavor to provide qualitative services in line with the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, by developing infrastructure and support services in a way that enhances the experience of the guests of Rahman and raises the level of care for them.
