Jungkook donates a billion Korean for those affected by forest fires

South Korean star Jungkook of BTS provided a donation of one billion Korean (about 682 thousand dollars) to help those affected by forest fires that swept the Ulsan, Kyungouk, and Kyongnam regions in South Korea.
Jungkook, according to Yonhap, expressed his hope that the donation will be moral and material support for those who are going through difficult circumstances.

He said: “I hope that it is a simple help, even for everyone who faces difficult times. I hope that those affected by these fires and those who work hard to extinguish them quickly return to their daily lives in peace.”
According to the Human Bridge National Association for Disaster Relief, half the donation will be allocated to provide emergency aid to the affected people, such as providing shelter and basic supplies, while the other half will be used to support firefighters and improve their working conditions.
