The fifth edition of the “Solar PVS designer” will start next April

The fifth version of the training course “designer of integrated solar energy systems” will be launched next April organized by the Sustainability and Innovation Center of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, in cooperation with “TUV Ryanland Academy”, with the aim of enabling interested and specialists, refining their skills and acquaintances in the field of solar and renewable energy, and introducing the systematic systems and solar stations and ways to design them And its installation, testing, maintenance, and ways to evaluate its projects economically.
The associates who completed the training and passed the exam receive certificates in the efficiency of solar energy design and installation. The course is consistent with the efforts of the center to support the endeavors to make the emirate a global center for clean energy and the green economy, through the launch of the center a set of programs and scientific training courses and interactive competitions for individuals, in cooperation with its strategic partners from universities and local academic institutions and emerging companies, to expand the knowledge of specialists and their technical and practical experiences in the field of sustainability and clean and renewable energy, In line with the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050, and the carbon neutrality strategy 2050 for the Emirate of Dubai.
It is noteworthy that the previous four courses of the “designer of integrated solar solar systems” witnessed the graduation of 87 affiliates, and received 200 participation requests. The fifth edition of the training course will be held at the Sustainability and Innovation Center within the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Complex.
The course aims to expand the knowledge of the trainees on the principles of photovoltaic systems, and the two international standards issued by the IEC 60364-71-71 and IEC 62446), for the installation of electrical systems and means of electric shock protection, testing and documentation and maintaining the volatile systems connected to the network respectively. The trainees also identify the principles of design of the photovoltaic solar stations, the economic evaluation of the photovoltaic design, in addition to having the basic capabilities necessary for the design and installation of elements of the low -voltage photovoltaic system connected to the network, and calculating the volume of the photovoltaic system connected to the network and unbelievers.
