"Edge" and"Seat" Brazilian transmits intellectual property of a missile "Mansup-a"

Rio de Janeiro on April 3 / WAM / Edge, the world leader in advanced technology and defense, strengthened their strategic partnership with the Brazilian navy by signing a licensing agreement to transfer the intellectual property of a “Mansup-a” missile.

The agreement was officially signed on the sidelines of the “Lad” International Defense and Security exhibition, 2025, held at the Ryusentero Exhibition and Conference Center in Rio de Janeiro.

Under the agreement, the Edge and Seat Group, the leading Brazilian company specialized in the group’s smart weapons, gets the intellectual property of the launch tube and the combat head of the Brazilian national anti -ship “Mansup” ships.

The agreement also determines the conditions of production, marketing and property rights associated with a “Mansup” missile and long-range “Mansup-a”.

The agreement represents an important development within the continuous cooperation between Edge, Sate, and the Brazilian Navy, and after Edge’s acquisition of Seat, the company announced a qualitative expansion in its manufacturing capabilities and secured two contracts to supply “Mansup” and “Mansup-a”.

The Edge Group is currently being negotiating with several potential customers to provide them with a long -range surface missile, which is characterized by adaptive capabilities to slip on the sea surface, up to 200 km, shortening, and directing the active radar.

“Mansup” solutions are subject to extensive tests by the Brazilian naval fleet, to be completed in the “Tamandari” frigates in late 2025. It should be noted that the Edge Group has signed a $ 300 million contract with the UAE armed forces of “Mansup” systems, and participates in senior negotiations with potential buyers across Africa and Asia And Latin America.
