Dark Severon achieved a surprise of a heavy caliber, as he was the last of the candidates and cut the distance in a time of 1:11:41 minutes, to lead the half and win a financial prize of one million and 160 thousand dollars.
The British horse “Nakatomi”, the owned by Detrani Hi and Qatar, was ranked second, under the supervision of coach Wesley Ward and the leadership of the knight Emisiel Gramillow, achieving a prize of 400 thousand dollars, while the Russian horse “Toz”, which is owned by Daki, came under the supervision of Pins Simar and the leadership of Taj Oki, and won 200 thousand dollars.
Knight Connor Pesley, who is crowned with the horseback of the Emirati horse, “Dark Severon”, expressed his happiness by winning the sixth half of the Dubai World Cup “Dubai Golden Shaheen”, stressing that this victory is the most wonderful in his career.
He said in a statement after the conclusion of the half competition, “I am happy to dedicate the Emirates this great title in the Dubai World Cup, nominations as I learned were not in our favor, but the determination and insistence on winning was the goal from the beginning and it achieved that.”
