The President of Uzbekistan receives the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure … and confirm the strength of the prosperous economic relations between the two countries

Tashkent on April 6 / WAM / His Excellency Shawkat Mirdhaif, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, received His Excellency Suhail bin Muhammad Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Special Envoy of His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and his accompanying delegation, during his visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Saeed Matar Al -Qamzi, the country’s ambassador to Tashkent.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of the President of the Presidential Court, and their wishes for the leadership of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its friendly people with more progress and progress.
During the meeting, ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields were discussed, especially in renewable energy, transportation and logistical services, and the two sides also expressed the strength of the prosperous economic relations between the two countries.
His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei headed a high-level Emirati delegation to the friendly Republic of Uzbekistan, to participate in the Samarkand International Climate Forum, under the title “Central Asia” held during the period from April 4-5, in the city of Samarkand in the Republic of Uzbekistan, in which a number of heads of state, including the leaders of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, in addition to the Union officials, participated in it European, the United Nations, representatives of governments, international organizations, climate experts and renewable energy.
On the sidelines of the participation of His Excellency Suhail Al Mazrouei in the forum, meetings were held with a number of ministers and senior officials in the Uzbek government, to enhance cooperation between the two countries in all fields and raise the level of relations in a way that reflects the aspirations of the leadership of the two friendly countries, where His Excellency held meetings with both His Excellency Jumuchid Khujayev – Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Bakhtiar Saeedov – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Excellency Lazizat Abighs – Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, and Excellency Merzamazamov – Minister of Energy. ‎
Al Mazrouei stressed the UAE’s interest in developing bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, especially in the field of energy, renewable energy, infrastructure, and transportation.

His Excellency also stressed the importance of strengthening economic and investment relations, and the continuation of mutual cooperation between the UAE and the Republic of Uzbekistan in line with the vision of the two countries’ joint leadership of sustainable development and economic growth.
The state delegation included senior officials who represent government agencies and the private sector in each of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Investment, the Ministry of Education, the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, in addition to a number of bodies and companies that include both Amia Energy, the Union Electricity and Water Company, Global South Company For utilities, Masdar, Mubadala Energy Company, Metto, Energy Company, and Golden Nile Investment Company.
