Undersecretary of the Health Department – Abu Dhabi: Women and Child Care for a basic pillar for building a balanced community
Abu Dhabi, April 6 / WAM / His Excellency Dr. Noura Khamis Al -Ghaithi, Undersecretary of the Health Department – Abu Dhabi said that the World Health Day this year carries a very important message under the slogan “A healthy beginning for a promising future”, reminds us that the care of women and children is not only a healthy priority, but is a basic pillar of building a balanced and sustainable society, in which everyone is blessed with health and prosperity.
Her Excellency presented on this occasion, the highest thanks and gratitude to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, the Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, for its unlimited support and qualitative initiatives that contribute to empowering women, enhancing the health of the mother and child, and achieving the quality of life for our future generations.
She emphasized that investing in women and children’s health is an investment in the future, and from this standpoint, we continue to work to develop a pioneering health system, providing prevention, care and empowerment, taking advantage of the latest science in the fields of exact medicine and genome science, to give every mother and every child a healthy beginning and opportunity for a better life.
