This step comes in the context of the authority’s strategy to consolidate the position of Ras Al Khaimah, one of the most leading tourist destinations in the region, and to accelerate the pace of its sustainable growth towards achieving its vision by becoming the “destination of the future”.

In the framework of his new position at the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, Brent Anderson is responsible for leading the commercial strategy to develop the tourism sector in the emirate and contributes to his great experience that extends for more than three decades in the fields of strategic tourism marketing, developing partnerships and involving the parties concerned in enhancing the authority’s presence in new markets and achieving sustainable growth in the number of visitors.

Anderson previously served as the regional director of South Asia and South Asia in the Australian Tourism Authority and succeeded in leading this region to become the fastest growing in terms of the number of visitors coming to Australia and the second largest exporter for international visitors and played a pivotal role in the post -pandemic stage, as this region contributed to achieving the fastest recovery rates as South Asia and South Asia became the fastest recovery region What supported the recovery of the Australian tourism sector.

Emile Petrov joins the Ras Al Khaimah Commission for Tourism Development team to serve as Vice President for Strategy and Vision.

Petrov, who has an experience exceeding fifteen years in the strategic leadership in the tourism and communications sectors, is responsible for formulating the features of the long -term tourist vision of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, unifying the efforts of the parties concerned and enhancing the graphic and informational capabilities of the emirate with the aim of establishing its position as one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in the region.
