المملكة: Organized by the Entertainment Authority .. The news and Jeddah host the event of “your passport for the world”
The governorates of Al -Khobar and Jeddah are preparing to launch the “Passport of the World” event, which is organized by the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), and is considered one of the most prominent activities devoted to the communities residing in the Kingdom, specifically from the countries of Sudan, India, the Philippines, and Bangladesh.
The event aims to provide an experience that allows expatriates to re -communicate with their original homeland, and to introduce visitors to various cultures through technical performances, cooking experiences, traditional crafts, and interactive workshops.
4 days for each community
The event begins first in the news, with 4 days for every community throughout April.
The event begins with the Sudanese community from Wednesday to next Saturday, followed by the Indian community from 16 to 19 April, then the Philippine community from 23 to 26 April, and concludes with the Bangladesh Pavilion from April 30 to May 3, and then move to Jeddah to complete the event.
Unified optical design
“Your Passport for the World” provides an integrated experience that is reflected through a unified optical design and an artistic identity inspired by popular motifs, textile patterns, natural and architectural elements for each country.
The areas of each suite to display the components of culture were devoted, including traditional fashion and accessories, dance shows, various foods, handicrafts, in addition to open markets, theaters, and interactive figures.
Promote cultural diversity
The “Passport of the World” event comes within multiple goals, most notably promoting cultural diversity and highlighting the beauty of the traditions of the participating countries, building bridges of communication between residents and visitors, creating an enjoyable comprehensive and educational experience for all family members, and highlighting the cultural heritage through arts and food.
It is expected that the event will have a wide public presence, because of the festive nature and vibrant experiences that express ancient traditions, in line with the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision in enhancing entertainment and the quality of life for the Kingdom’s population.
