Aircraft monitor geological changes in Fujairah

The Fujairah Natural Resources Foundation, as part of its participation in the activities of the Geomatic week 2025, revealed a package of smart applications and technical innovations that it employs in monitoring mining activity and monitoring geological changes in the emirate, using geographical information systems and drones.
The Foundation reviewed – during the event organized by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center, in cooperation with the World Association for Photo Survey and Sensing from remoteness – its most prominent projects in the field of high -resolution air survey, in which it depends on advanced planes capable of producing three -dimensional maps, contributing to providing a comprehensive and modern visualization of the geological state of the mining areas.
The Foundation emphasized that these technologies enable the work teams to monitor changes in the nature of the land and geological formations, and help to follow the mining activities accurately, which raises the efficiency of follow -up, and enhances sustainability efforts and preserving natural resources.
The Foundation has presented its advanced applications in satellite tracking systems and remote sensing images, which contribute to detailed geological studies, and the location of minerals with high accuracy, which enhances the efficiency of future exploration and planning processes.
The Director General of the Foundation, Engineer Ali Qassem, stressed that participation in the Gomani week 2025 represents an important station to exchange experiences and enhance technical knowledge, indicating that the event is an ideal platform to see the best global practices in the field of geometric applications, which contributes to accelerating the development of these applications and enhancing their sustainability in the service of development projects.
