Putin supports the ceasefire in Ukraine … with these conditions

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said today, Monday, that Russian President Vladimir Putin supports the necessity of a ceasefire with Ukraine, but it is necessary to clarify all the nuances in Kiev’s position.
“President Putin strongly supports the need to stop the shooting, but before that, there are many questions that must be answered, these questions are stuck, and no one has yet to do it,” Peskov told reporters.
He continued: “This is related to the weakness and impotence of Kiev, and this is also related to the plans of Kiev’s militarization. All these minute details are still on,” according to the Russian news agency Sputnik.

American customs duties

“Our military strikes are limited to military and semi -military targets (in Ukraine). There are no attacks on social infrastructure,” Peskov added.
Regarding American customs duties, Peskov said that the Russian authorities are doing everything in their power to reduce the impact of global oil prices on the Russian economy, with the country’s main crude oil price decreased about $ 50 a barrel for the first time in 21 months.
“We are closely monitoring the situation, which is currently characterized by severe disorder, tension and emotion,” Interfax quoted Peskov as saying.

Crude oil prices

Peskov stressed that the Russian authorities are working to reduce the “consequences of this international economic storm on our economy.”
Crude oil prices are very important for the Russian federal budget, which relied on oil and gas for about 30% of its revenues in January and February, according to government data.
With the acceleration of state spending in the first two months of the year due to the war in Ukraine, any decrease in revenue can put pressure on the country’s finances.
