The CEO of the Saudi Space Agency, Dr. Mohammed bin Saud Al -Tamimi today, in the fortieth edition of the “Space Senderer” conference held in Colorado in the United States of America, within a high -level strategic session entitled “Sustainability … practices and responsibilities for the future of space.”
She witnessed the presence of heads of space agencies, a group of leaders, decision makers and experts, as well as representatives of a number of specialized authorities in the space sector from different countries of the world.

The session focused on the importance of strengthening sustainability mechanisms in the space sector and ensuring the continuity of its development by adopting responsible practices that preserve space resources in favor of future generations, and discussed the current challenges facing the sector and possible solutions to enhance the principle of sustainability in space activities.

During his intervention, Dr. Al -Tamimi pointed out the leadership role of the Kingdom in adopting innovation and modern technologies, and its commitment to international cooperation to support space sustainability efforts, reviewing the initiatives adopted by the Saudi Space Agency in this field, including supporting specialized research and developing technologies that guarantee the sustainability of space operations in the long term.
