Our air defense is among the ranks of very developed countries

The official spokesman for the UAE Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Pilot Abdel Nasser Al-Humaidi, said today that the UAE’s air defenses were able to confront Iranian attacks “with merit.”

In statements to Sky News Arabia, the official spokesman for the UAE Ministry of Defense confirmed that the UAE air defense system is classified among “the ranks of very developed countries.”

Al-Hamidi added that the air defense system relies on a multi-layered system that has the ability to defend in all directions.

Al-Hamidi indicated that the concerned authorities are moving immediately to secure the area where the fragments of the successful interceptions occurred.

The official spokesman for the UAE Ministry of Defense stressed that the safety of society is the highest priority for the armed forces.
