“Work well” .. Trump insists on adhering to the customs duties policy

US President Donald Trump said that his country is on the right path despite the strong criticism of its volatile approach.
Trump confirmed, in a post on his “Truth Social” platform on Friday, that he is making good progress in the international trade level.

American customs duties

He added: “We are doing a really good job at the level of our policy related to customs duties, as it is a very interesting step for America and the world, and it is going quickly.”
President Trump initially did not respond to the recent increase in the customs duties imposed by China.

Chinese customs duties on America

China had previously announced that it would increase its anti -customary customs fees on American goods, to 125% in its trade dispute with the United States.
The total American customs duties currently imposed on China during the Trump administration era is 145%.
The US administration announced that it was in the process of holding talks with several countries on the trade policy.
