The UAE won 23 medals in the Gulf Beach Games
Muscat on April 12/ WAM/ The UAE delegation concluded its participation in the third edition of the Gulf Beach Games “Muscat 2025” with 23 medals by 8 golds, 8 silver and 7 bronze, which put it in second place on the overall ranking ladder.
The last medals came through the long jump bronze achieved by Salem Al Balushi after jumping for a distance of 6.55 meters, and the beach football team won the silver medal after defeating the Kuwaiti team 5-1.
The session – which was held from 5 to 11 April – witnessed the participation of 330 athletes and sports from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, including 77 athletes from the UAE competing in 8 sports: football, handball, volleyball, athletics, pegs, sail, swimming and paragliding.
Our national team for the sail was the largest share of the medals with 11 medals, represented in the golden team golden, and the golden category 4 by Marwa Al -Hammadi, and Al -Yazi Al -Hammadi crowned the silver of the same competition, and the gold came in the category of Alca 6, through the sacrifice of humans, and Camellia won the bronze caliph.
Zayed Al -Hosani also won the golden boats category for the young, and the successor of Al -Rumaithi with the golden classification of the same category, and Othman Al Hammadi in the gold of Alka 6 category.
Adel Khaled Al -Bastaki won the silver of the category of Alka 7, Muhammad Al -Marzouqi, the silver of the category of Alka 4, and the Media of the Niyadi Bronze, the category of Outtams boats for girls.
Our national athletics team achieved 6 medals with 3 silver through the sequence team for men, which was represented by Salimin, Muhammad Al -Nubi Al -Hammadi, Salem Al -Balushi, Moaz Fawzi, and the Yamat Al -Talaat team through the players Fatima Al -Balushi, Mahra Abdul Rahim, Fatima Khalil, and Jawaher Farid, in addition to the silver of the high jumping of women for the player Alia Yousef Al -Hammadi.
Our national athletics team also managed to win 3 bronze medals through Abeer Ibrahim Al Balushi with the bronze of the triple ladies, and the bronze of athletics race in athletics, for the player Rukaya Al Marzouqi, and the bronze medal in the long jump of the player Salem Al Balushi.
Our national air sports team achieved 3 colored medals through the golden medals of Abdullah Nasser Al Hammadi in paragliding (descending on the goal, overthrowing the (bowling) cones, and silver for paragliding teams.
Our national team to capture the pegs bronze the spear teams via Fahd Shanwan Al -Shammari, Saif Mubarak Al -Harthi, Muhammad Abdullah Hussein, Khaled Al -Masoud Al -Hashemi, and Issa Abdul Majeed Al -Balushi.
Our national handball team also won the bronze medal after 4 victories over the Saudi and Bahrain teams, while losing two games against the Oman national team, where the competition was held in the league system from Doreen, facing each team for its counterpart twice.
