المملكة: “Customs Ports” records more than 890 cases of seizure within a week

The land, sea, and air customs outlets recorded 896 cases of controls for contraband, within the framework of the ongoing efforts made by the “Zakat, Tax and Customs” Authority to enhance the security aspect and protect society from prohibitions of all kinds and forms.
The seized items included 49 varieties of narcotic substances, such as hashish, cocaine, heroin, youth, Captagon and others, in addition to 452 prohibited materials.
The customs outlets witnessed the frustration of 1535 tobacco and its derivatives, as well as 20 items for sums of money, and two categories of weapons and their supplies.

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority emphasized that it is continuing to tighten customs control over the Kingdom’s imports and exports, in order to achieve the security and protection of society, in cooperation and continuous coordination with all its relevant partners.
At the same time, the authority called on everyone to contribute to combating smuggling to protect society and the national economy, by communicating with it on the number designated for security communications (1910) or via e -mail ([email protected](Or international number (009661910). Through these channels, the authority receives the reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the provisions of the unified customs system, with a complete confidentiality, while granting a financial reward to the reporter in the event of the validity of the communication information.
