Saudi Arabia and America emphasize the importance of enhancing efforts to shift towards more sustainable energy systems

Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, discussed today in Riyadh with US Energy Minister Chris Wright to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries in a number of energy sector, including oil, gas, petrochemical industries, carbon administration, hydrogen technologies, peaceful uses of nuclear energy, as well as electricity, renewable energy sources and innovation.

The Saudi Press Agency / SPA / that the two sides stressed during the meeting the importance of continuing coordination and exchanging experiences between the two countries; It contributes to enhancing efforts to shift towards more sustainable and efficient energy systems.

On the other hand, and in a meeting with the media at the headquarters of the Ministry of Energy in Riyadh, the US Secretary of Energy said that during his visit to the Queen, he discussed the energy in the field of energy between the two countries, focusing on investments, trade and energy security, as well as cooperation in all main energy sources; Including renewable energies such as green hydrogen and solar energy, and the importance of long -term energy investments to meet the growing global demand.

He pointed to the solar energy resources that Saudi Arabia possesses, and the effective development in it and the studied energy resources, stressing the importance of encouraging investment between the two countries and enhancing the growth of energy supplies in the long term, and said that the world needs more energy, and that energy takes a long time to develop, and energy investments must be planned over decades.

He added that the political changes in the United States of America will lead to faster economic growth between the two countries and the countries of the world, through widespread investments in the energy field and their salute to achieve future prosperity.
