Algeria asks 12 employees at the French embassy to leave its territory within 48 hours

The Algerian authorities asked 12 employees at the French embassy to leave Algerian territory within 48 hours, according to French Foreign Minister Jean-Nawil Barrow on Monday, explaining that the decision responded to the arrest of three Algerians in France.
“I ask the Algerian authorities to return from these expulsion procedures that have nothing to do with the ongoing judicial procedures” in France.
“In the event that the decision to expel our employees will not have another option, but to respond immediately,” he added.
A source in a diplomat said that among the persons that Algeria intends to expel them are employees of the Ministry of Interior.
