Tomorrow .. the start of the Emirates Community Sports Forum with the participation of 12 Arab countries

Dubai, April 14 /WAM /The activities of the Emirates Sports Forum will start tomorrow in its second edition, which is organized by the Emirates Sports Federation for all in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports, under the slogan “Sports is a lifestyle”, as part of the initiatives of “The Year of Society 2025”, and is held over two days at the headquarters of the Ministry of Sports.
The forum is witnessing the establishment of a societal sports exhibition on its margins, in which leading government agencies from different parts of the country participate to display its experiences in supporting community sport and raising awareness of the importance of practicing it in its various categories.
In its sessions, the forum deals with a number of major axes, which include a review of the successful Gulf and Arab models in community sport, and the impact of sports initiatives on community health, in addition to discussing the role of the governmental and private sectors in supporting community sport, and its importance in social and economic development, while discussing ways to enhance regional cooperation in this field.
Saeed Al -Aji, Vice President of the Emirates Sports Federation for all, stressed that the forum hosts in its second edition a group of experts and specialists from 12 Gulf and Arab countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman, along with Egypt, Syria, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Mauritania.
He said: “The forum aims to collect a group of decision makers, practitioners and experts in the field of community sport, to exchange experiences and experiences, and to build sustainable strategies that contribute to developing this vital sector in our region.”
Al -Urgent expressed his appreciation to the representatives of the participating countries, praising the role that the Arab Federation for Community Sports plays in supporting these efforts. He also pointed out that the forum aspires to be a leading regional platform that contributes to enhancing the concept of community sport as a tool for sustainable development and public health, as well as enhancing cooperation between sports and community institutions to spread awareness and create a supportive environment for a healthy and active life.
The first day of the forum includes special sessions to highlight the experiences of the Ministry of Interior and Dubai Police during the year of society, while the second day witnesses two main sessions, the first entitled “Gulf Policies and Strategies to support community sport”, and the second on “Arab experience in community sport”.
