Al Qasimia University opens schools for memorizing the Holy Quran in 3 African countries
Sharjah, April 14/ WAM/ The Qasimiya University opened a number of schools for memorizing the Holy Quran in Uganda, Kenya, and Comoros, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and within the framework of its vision and global mission, and its initiatives aimed at supporting education and spreading Islamic and human values.
His Excellency Jamal Salem Al -Tarifi, President of Al Qasimia University, opened a “Refaq Al -Maarefa” school in Moroni, the capital of the United Republic of the Comoros, which bears the name of the late student at the Qasimiya University, accompanied by Youssef.
The opening was attended by His Excellency Juma Rashid Al -Rumaithi, the country’s ambassador to the Comoros, and a number of senior local officials, and the school will work to organize episodes to memorize the Holy Quran, in addition to providing its library with publications provided by the “Kalimat” Foundation in Sharjah.
On the other hand, His Excellency President Othman Ghazali, President of the United Republic of the Qamar, received the delegation of the Qasimiya University and praised the support provided by the UAE to his country, and expressed his great appreciation to His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah for his humanitarian and development initiatives, which contribute to supporting the education and development process in the Comoros.
In the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, His Excellency the President of the Qasimiya University opened a school for memorizing the Holy Quran, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Salem Ibrahim Al -Naqbi, the country’s ambassador to Kenya.
Al -Tarifi met a number of graduates of the Qasimiya University, who expressed their gratitude for the university’s scientific and intellectual support, stressing their commitment to spreading the values of moderation and moderation in their societies.
His Excellency also opened a number of schools for memorizing the Holy Quran in the Ugandan capital Kampala and met its graduates who reviewed their successful experiences in the fields of education and community service, noting that the values they gained at the university have become an inspiration in their career.
