“Dubai Press” opens the door for participation in the “Arab Social Communication Pioneers Award

“Dubai Press Club” announced the opening of the door to receive requests to participate in the Arab Social Communication Pioneers Award at its fifth session, and for a full month from tomorrow, Tuesday, until the fifteenth of May 2025, to provide sufficient opportunity to participate from all over the Arab world.

The club revealed the addition of new categories of the award to reach 12 categories, within the framework of the continuous development process that all its initiatives and projects are subject to, where categories, economics, podcasts, “best news platform and” category “the best platform for the child” were added, in addition to the award categories included in the previous courses, namely: “The Effective Personality”, Entrepreneurship, Community and Health Service, Sports, Culture, Tourism, Arts and Entertainment.

Maryam Al -Mulla, Acting Director of Dubai Press Club, confirmed that the award is inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, for the future of digital media and affirming his positive role in building the future and spreading positive values ​​and concepts. She added: “The award goes on achieving the goals for which it was launched in stimulating the positive roles of social media and encouraging excellence in providing high -level content and ideas that serve Arab societies and enable them to discover their potential energies and contribute to enhancing the aspirations of their societies towards a better future, as it took into account the award categories of diversity and inclusiveness to cover various aspects of life and their vital sectors.”

For his part, Jassim Al -Shamsi, Director of the Arab Social Communication Prize, affirmed the Dubai Press Club’s pride in integrating the award with the strategic initiatives and projects that the club has worked on since its inception more than a quarter of a century ago, so that today it becomes one of the most prominent activities supporting media work at the most comprehensive Arab level, foremost of which is the “Arab Media Summit” that has maintained its position to today as the most important professional gathering of workers in the media field at the level of the Arab world, and “Arab Media Award”, the most prominent platform to celebrate excellence in the world of traditional and digital press.

Al -Shamsi explained that the honoring of the winners will take place during the month of May within the work of the “Arab Media Summit” 2025, and in front of a collection that includes the most prominent and most important leaders of the media work in the region, stressing that the selection of the winners is through a series of assessments according to professional standards that a group of the most prominent experts in the field of digital media, and in a full framework of professional, objective and impartial honesty, participates in a full framework of professional and impartial honesty, to ensure the choice of the best who deserves at the level of the Arab world to reach the podium.
