Abu Dhabi Police participates in the Gulf Traffic Week

Abu Dhabi, April 14 / WAM / The Traffic Directorate and Security Patrols in Abu Dhabi Police participate in the activities of the “Unified Gulf Traffic Week” organized by the Ministry of Interior represented by the Federal Traffic Council.

Brigadier Saif Hamad Al -Zaabi, Deputy Director of the Directorate for Patrol Affairs, stressed that road security is among the priorities of the Abu Dhabi Police and its strategic goals that seek to enhance awareness and traffic culture in order to preserve the safety of road users and reduce traffic accidents and the resulting loss of life and property.

Brigadier Al -Zaabi warned of the dangers of using the phone while driving, such as browsing the Internet or communication or photography applications, considering that it is one of the most prominent causes of distraction and accidents.

The participation of Abu Dhabi Police includes various activities, including lectures and competitions, as well as digital awareness through smart robot, and interactive programs for children that include the augmented reality and the corner of drawing, with the aim of consolidating a traffic safety culture in various groups of society.
