Mohamed Ramadan in front of the judiciary because of his strange look at the “Cochlla” festival

An Egyptian lawyer submitted, with an official communication, to Counselor Mohamed Shawky, the Egyptian Attorney General, against the artist Mohamed Ramadan, after he appeared at the “Kochilla” festival in the United States of America, wearing an uniform, describing it as inappropriate and violating public morals.
The lawyer described the lifting of Mohamed Ramadan to the Egyptian flag in a “humiliating national symbol.”
The communication submitted by the lawyer Samir Sabry indicated that during the ceremony, Mohamed Ramadan wore a golden jacket that resembles the uniforms of the dancers, and appeared on the stage while performing a lyrical paragraph, then he raised the Egyptian flag and waved it, which the lawyer considered “a great abuse to the Egyptian state and its people, and to the Egyptian art and civilization.”
Sabri added in his communication that the artist’s behavior may encourage some young people to imitate him in his appearance and behaviors, which, according to his description, constitutes a “threat to the values and customs of Egyptian society”, calling for an investigation of the incident and the referral of Mohamed Ramadan to an urgent criminal trial.
