"Abu Dhabi’s culture and tourism" It announces its program for the International Jazz 2025

Abu Dhabi, April 15 / WAM / The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi announced a busy cultural program that will be held throughout April and May 2025 to celebrate the International Day of Jazz 2025.

Abu Dhabi will gather global and regional musical talents by participating in a series of live shows, community activities and educational opportunities.

The celebration of the “All-Star” Jazz Stars concert will be crowned, which will be held in the Union Arena, the largest multi-use entertainment destination in the region, on April 30, 2025.

The International Jazz Day was established under a resolution issued by the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2011, and was approved by the United Nations General Assembly.

This day is held on April 30 of each year, and it brings together countries and societies around the world, where this annual celebration highlights the role of jazz music as an active tool in promoting peace, encouraging dialogue between cultures, promoting diversity, and respecting human dignity, and the current year 2025 is scheduled to highlight the rich cultural heritage of Abu Dhabi, which mixes Arab and Emirati traditions, where the public will enjoy With a mixture of tunes played by local classic machines, such as oud, law and flute, with Arabic jazz, highlighting the interaction of local musical traditions and the global echo of jazz.

As “the city of music”, according to the UNESCO network of creative cities, Abu Dhabi is proud to present a dynamic series of events that mix the global jazz traditions with the rich musical heritage of the region.

Abu Dhabi celebrates a vibrant cultural center in various forms of art, and shows the emirate’s commitment to strengthening international artistic dialogues.

The city is preparing to host international cultural events, attracting international fans and enhances its position on the global cultural map. The International Jazz Day will be a platform for local artists, musicians and cultural practitioners for cooperation and playing as well as international talents, highlighting local creativity.
