“Environment – Abu Dhabi” contradicts fishermen who use a nylon hunting

In the context of its continuous efforts to protect the marine environment and safeguard the natural resources for future generations, the Environment Authority – Abu Dhabi liberated an environmental violation against a group of fishermen, after they were caught for their use of a nylon fishing window in one of the coastal sites in the emirate, in a clear violation of the applicable environmental legislation.

The authority confirms that the use of banned fishing equipment constitutes a direct threat to fish wealth and the marine ecosystem, stressing the importance of all fishermen’s commitment to the laws and regulations regulating fishing operations.
