“Aktifa” products on Arab Air flights

The Sharjah Agricultural and Animal Production Corporation, “Aktafi”, affiliated to the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, today signed a memorandum of understanding with the “Alpha Aviation Services” affiliated to the Arab Aviation Group, to direct the distribution of organic food “Aktafi” products on Arab Air flights in all destinations.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Dr. Eng. Khalifa Musabah Al -Tunaiji, CEO of “Aktafi” and Mark Willian, Director of “Alpha Aviation Services”, in the presence of Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Tala’i, Director of Executive Affairs in Air Arabia and a number of employees of both sides.
Dr. Eng. Khalifa Musabeh Al -Tunaiji said: Under the agreement, “Aktifa” works in the first stage to provide Mleiha farm products on Arab Air flights, provided that the partnership will expand in the next stage to include all “sufficiency” products.
He added: We look forward through our partnership with Alpha Aviation Services of the Arab Air Group, according to a strategy drawn to provide membership products “sufficiency” and open new outlets to contribute to the development of projects that enhance organic food security and contribute to maintaining the health of community members.
Al -Tunaii pointed out that the products of “Aktafi” have become a great demand in the retail markets, so we are working on partnerships with institutions that have extensive experiences in this sector to provide products so that they are accessible to all and spreading a healthy and safe food culture.
He explained that through this agreement, we open new horizons in the march of developing the organic food industry and achieving the highest standards of quality and health using modern techniques, achieving an exceptional vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah in the production of a safe and sustainable healthy food.
For his part, Mark Willian, director of Alpha Aviation Services, said this agreement comes in support of Sharjah’s vision in achieving sustainable food security and in the interest of the Arab Aviation Group to support the national product, noting that this cooperation represents a strategic step that reflects the support of local industries and provides a distinguished experience for travelers.
He added: “Etkaf” membership products will now be available on Arab Air flights, and there will be future plans to provide these products in airport halls, restaurants and other ports.
