The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Amna Al -Rumaihi, and CEO of Barah Al -Rutj Company, Youssef Boujeri, signed a memorandum of understanding between the ministry and the Al -Rutj Real Estate Services Company, with the aim of allocating vouchers in the Ras Hayyan village project in the southern governorate, and ownership apartments in a project in Qalali in the Muharraq Governorate at exclusive prices for beneficiaries of the options of the housing financing program.

This comes within the framework of the executive plan for the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, to accelerate the pace of housing projects to provide 50 thousand new housing units.

Minister Al -Rumaihi stressed that the memorandum of understanding concluded between the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Rent Rent for Real Estate Services comes within the framework of joint coordination and preparatory efforts for the conference and exhibition of innovation in the social housing sector, which is held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, during the period from 23 to 25 April at the Bahrain World Exhibition Center.

Al -Rumaihi praised the efforts of the “luster of the fertility” in providing housing projects in the various governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and its keenness to enhance the partnership with the public sector in providing real estate projects that are commensurate with the value of housing financing that citizens benefit from.

The minister said that the next stage will witness more cooperation between the governmental and private sectors with the aim of increasing housing projects in various governorates, and in a way that contributes to providing flexibility for citizens to choose the type, location and space of the housing service that suit their needs.

For his part, Bojiri appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning in providing housing services to citizens, and ensuring that the partnership with the private sector is made to diversify housing options in front of the beneficiaries of the housing financing program, stressing that the company’s efforts are continuing to participate in the Ministry’s efforts to enhance the supply of projects and housing units in the Kingdom, in order to achieve the desired aspirations.

Bojiri stressed that the company will be offered through the pavilion assigned to it in the conference and exhibition of innovation in the social housing sector many opportunities to obtain housing immediately through the projects that will be presented within the housing financing program, including the “Ras Hayyan Village” project, and the “Wahti” project, which will be presented at prices that suit the value of housing financing, calling on visitors to the exhibition to visit the company’s pavilion and benefit from these offers.

It is noteworthy that the innovation conference in the social housing sector brings together a group of local, regional and international relevant parties, and the conference sessions will include the axes of exchange of experiences on the most prominent designs and innovative technologies in construction, the investment opportunities available to the private sector to develop the social housing sector, in addition to the axes of integrating the requirements of society in implementing social housing programs and services, enhancing legal mechanisms and organizational measures in the social housing sector, as well The optimal benefit from land spaces to provide sustainable urban communities.

A number of ministers and officials from the government and private sectors from inside and outside the Kingdom of Bahrain will participate in the conference, in addition to the participation of a group of international speakers specializing in the social housing sector to enrich the conference axes, while the exhibition contains more than 30 pavilions for government agencies, commercial banks and real estate development companies, and the exhibition will provide many housing projects available to benefit from through the housing financing program.
