Zelinski accuses Trump’s delegate of adopting the Russian strategy

Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski accused Trump’s delegate Steve Witkeov, who interviews Moscow in the context of negotiations aimed at reaching a ceasefire by “adopting the Russian strategy” and “spreading Russian narratives.”
“I think Witkeov adopts the strategy of the Russian side, I think this is very dangerous, because it is published, consciously or unconsciously, Russian narratives,” Zellinski told a press conference.
Steve Witkev is the preferred axis of Russian President Vladimir Putin in negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
The two men met 3 times since February, the last of which was last week in Russia.

Separate conversations

According to Zellinski, Wittouf will meet Ukraine foreign ministers, France, Germany and Britain during his visit to Paris, which started today, Thursday.
The Donald Trump administration has been in separate talks with senior Russian and Ukrainian officials for weeks to find a solution to the war in Ukraine.
However, these discussions have not yet resulted in a complete endowment of hostilities, which has sparked Trump’s dissatisfaction in recent days.

Chinese weapons to Russia

Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski accused China on Thursday of providing Russia with weapons, and of participating in the production of certain weapons on Russian soil.
“We have finally received information stating that China is providing Russia weapons, we believe that Chinese actors are participating in the manufacture of specific weapons on Russian soil,” Zellinski said at a press conference.
Zelinski did not provide additional details, but he pointed to “gunpowder and artillery”, and promised to reveal more “next week.”

Getting around Western sanctions

Ukraine announced last week that it had arrested two Chinese citizens fighting with the Russian army, while Zelinski had accused China before that of participating in the war, accusations that Beijing said was “unfounded.”
The Ukrainian president also confirmed that hundreds of Chinese citizens are fighting in the ranks of the Russian army in Ukraine.
China has been providing itself as a neutral party in the 3 -year war, although Western governments considered that its close relations with Russia gave Moscow the decisive economic and diplomatic support.
Beijing, in particular, is accused of helping Moscow to circumvent Western sanctions by allowing it to obtain the technological components needed to produce weapons for war.
However, it is the first time that Zellinski has accused China of providing Moscow directly weapons.
