Abdullah bin Zayed chairs the first meeting of the Group of Twentieth Guidance Committee

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs chaired the first meeting of the guidelines concerned with the participation of the UAE in the work of the Group of Twenty (G20) for the year 2025, with the participation of a number of ministers and officials in the country.

The ministers and officials participating in the meeting reviewed the developments of the state’s participation, as a guest, in the work of the Group of Twenty (G20) within the framework of the two financial tracks and “Sherba”, in addition to all groups and teams of the group.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the efforts of the work teams and all the concerned authorities with the participation of the state in the Group of Twenty (G20), stressing the importance of active participation in the various stages and axes of the work of the group, and that embodies the UAE’s firm commitment to multilateral work and international cooperation.

His Highness expressed his appreciation for the success of South Africa in hosting the meetings and activities of the G20.

It is noteworthy that the UAE participates in the Group of Twenty (G20) this year as a guest for the fourth time in a row, and the sixth time since the establishment of the group.
