“Dubai Roads” opens a new bridge with a capacity of two tracks from Jumeirah Street to Al -Mina Street towards the Infiniti Bridge

Today, the Roads and Transport Authority opened a major bridge that serves the traffic coming from Jumeirah Street to Al -Mina Street towards the Infiniti Bridge, with a length of 985 meters, with a capacity of two tracks, and a capacity of 3,200 vehicles per hour, within the work of the fourth stage of the Al -Shindaga Axis Development project, which extends the scope of its work on Sheikh Rashid Street from its intersection with Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street, to the Al -Saqr intersection on Al -Mina Street, length 4.8 km.
The Roads and Communications Authority affirmed its continuous keenness to translate the directions of the rational leadership to keep pace with the continuous development in the region along the Shindagha axis, and to assess the needs of urban and population growth, by strengthening the road network and the flow of traffic in that region.
The new bridge also provides a flow in the traffic coming from Jumeirah Street to Al -Mina Street towards the Infiniti Bridge, which contributes to raising the efficiency of roads, by providing free traffic along the new bridge instead of waiting for traffic lights, and thus reducing the flight time from 12 minutes to 4 minutes and by 67%.
The fourth stage includes the implementation of five bridges with a total length of 3.1 kilometers, and its capacity is estimated at about 19,400 vehicles per hour for all tracks, developing roads with a length of 4.8 kilometers, in addition to developing surface intersections on Jumeirah Street, Al -Mina Street, Sheikh Sabah Al -Ahmad Al -Jaber Al -Sabah Street, and the construction of two infantry bridges, the first on Sheikh Rashid Street, and the second on Al -Mina Street.
During the second quarter of 2025, it is planned to complete the implementation of the bridge that will serve the traffic coming from the Infiniti Bridge via Al -Mina Street towards Al -Wasl Street, with a length of 780 meters, with a capacity of three tracks and capacity of 4,800 vehicles per hour.
