The start of the first emergency medicine conference in Al -Qassim

Today, the work of the first emergency medicine conference in the Qassim region, organized by Buraidah Central Hospital, a member of the Qassim Health Gathering, under the slogan “Code Ready”, was launched at the King Khalid Civilization Center in Buraidah, amid a large presence of medical cadres and those interested in the field of emergency medicine.

This conference is the first scientific event of its kind in the region in the emergency medicine specialization, and it lasts for three days, targeting doctors, nurses, paramedics and students of health specialties, and all employees of the emergency front lines by providing more than 40 scientific lectures and 8 training workshops based on simulation and practical application.

47 experts and speakers specializing from inside and outside the Kingdom will participate in the conference, in addition to the participation of more than 5 specialized agencies in emergency services, ambulances and innovative solutions, and allocating more than 900 training seats for the participants to adopt 24 educational hours from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

The director of Buraidah Central Hospital and the head of the conference, Hammoud bin Saleh, confirmed that the organization of this conference is an extension of the hospital’s role in raising the quality of health services provided in the region.
