Various cultural activities in the Sharjah Pavilion B"Book exhibition"

Rabat, April 19 / WAM / The Sharjah Book Authority organized within the Sharjah Events Program as the guest of honor of the thirtieth session of the International Publishing and Book Fair in Rabat, a dialogue session entitled “The Produced and the Different in Arab dialects east and west”, during which Dr. Sultan Al -Amimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Writers and Writers and researcher Dr. Yahya Amara hosted.

During his intervention, Dr. Al -Amimi reviewed the path of immigration of vocabulary in the Arabic language throughout history, starting from its first upbringing to its development in dictionaries and dictionaries, indicating that the Arabic words migrated through times between classical and dialects and between the East and Morocco and even to other languages ​​before returning again to modern Arabic.

For his part, Dr. Amara emphasized that the language represents a human load that moves with man wherever he traveled, stressing that all Arabic dialects are launched from a common source, which is the Arabic language, which enhances rapprochement and understanding between Arab societies, explaining that the ancient Arab artistic heritage contributed to the perpetuation of relations between the Arab dialects, citing the resort of the ancient Arab poets to the introduction of empty words in their literary texts as in the “Preferences” and “Asmaids” collections.

In a cultural dialogue, he reviewed the role of the popular story in shaping the Arab conscience through the ages, the session “Bridge between two banks: the creative participant in the brightness of the Arab world and its Maghreb”, the researcher Dr. Saeed Yqtin from Morocco and Emirati writer Sheikha Al -Jabri.

Dr. Saeed said that the tales are one of the most important things that bring people, as they are not just stories of entertainment, but rather a record of human experience with his surroundings and his relationship to life and the universe, explaining that the strength of the story lies in its simplicity and sincerity and its ability to turn into proverbs and sayings that move from one generation to another and remain alive thanks to its ability to touch the common conscience.

For her part, the writer Sheikha Al -Jabri reviewed the role of women in preserving popular tales and transferring them across generations, stressing that women were and still is a carrier of culture and identity, noting that the term “lamb” or “Al -Khrakarif”, which is called popular stories in Emirati culture, is the same used in Morocco to denote the inherited oral stories.

The Wing of the Emirate of Sharjah witnessed the organization of two workshops and a dialogue session that brought together the Islamic artistic heritage and the spirit of contemporary creativity amid a wide public presence and a remarkable interaction from visitors.

The event started with a workshop “from east to west” presented by the artist Alia Al Hammadi and Nour Al -Khumairi and targeted the definition of the participants to the most prominent architectural and artistic landmarks scattered in the East and the Arab Maghreb, where the artist launched through a drawing and interactive coloring session of children and youth to document the major cultural symbols in a simple and creative manner.

As for the “Arab Decorations” workshop presented by the two artists who are highly Al -Nassar and Nour Al -Khamiri, it presented an opportunity to discover the patterns of Islamic decoration scattered across the Arab countries, where the children drew and colored decorative units inspired by architecture and traditional arts in a fun educational atmosphere that combined art and knowledge.

In the “Andalusian: Future visual simulation”, artists Ahmed Jarraida Alia Al Hammadi, Bashir Amal, Rafia Al Nassar, Nour Al -Khamiri and Moulay Youssef Al -Kahmi discussed their experiences in participating in a collective artistic project launched by the Sharjah Book Authority bearing the title of the session to inspire the spirit of Andalusia and re -present it through the media of digital art, collage and visual projections.

The commission organized an evening entitled “Mirrors of Speech: Emirati and Moroccan poems under the sky of Rabat revived by the two poets Abdullah Al -Huda from the Emirates and Ahmed Al -Harshi from Morocco.
