India … killing 3 and saving more than 100 due to heavy rains
Three people died and more than 100 others were rescued, after heavy rains caused sudden floods in separate areas in the Ramban area of Jammu and Kashmir, northern India, early Sunday morning, officials said.
The newspaper “Press Trust of India” quoted the officials as saying that the continuous rains also caused landsmarks and clay collapses in nearly ten areas between publishers and Baniyal, along the strategic national highway that connects Jamo and Srenajar, which led to the suspension of traffic.
