The arrival of the first Syrian Airlines plane to Dubai, marking the return of regular flights

This return falls within an exceptional first stage announced by the carrier in an official statement, through which it aims to restore the regular air linking with the UAE.

Syrian Airlines explained that this flight will be affiliated with a regular schedule throughout the week, with plans to increase the number of flights during the coming period.

The Syrian carrier indicated that it will travel four weekly flights from Damascus to Dubai on Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, to be raised soon to become a daily trip due to the increasing demand for this line..

As for the Damascus – Sharjah trips, it starts on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday, with the institution also seeking to make it a daily trip during the next stage, while the Damascus – Abu Dhabi trips are running on Tuesday and Friday.

Sameh Orabi, Director General of Syrian Airlines, said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” that the return of direct flights to the UAE reflects the Foundation’s commitment to re -linking Syria to regional and international travel markets, especially countries that embrace large Syrian communities, such as the UAE, and this step comes within the framework of a comprehensive operational plan to restore civil aviation movement and expand our network and destinations.

Orabi – who accompanied the first trip to Dubai – added that “Syrian Air” is working to gradually raise the number of flights, noting that the demand for travel to and from the UAE is constantly increasing.

He called on travelers to follow up official advertisements and communicate with the carrier offices inside and outside Syria to obtain all the details and developments.

He described this step as an important dimension at the economic and social levels, as direct trips contribute to facilitating the movement of individuals and stimulating the movement in general, as well as reducing the distances between the Syrian families residing in the Emirates and their relatives inside Syria.

Syrian Air confirmed that it is making extensive efforts to restart new lines to other Arab and regional destinations in the near future, in a way that restores the Syrian Airlines its position on the map of air transport in the region.
