The Department of Physiotherapy at Al -Aswar General Hospital, one of the components of Al -Qassim Healthy Gathering, was able to re -walk to a forty -year -old citizen, after suffering a brain stroke that affected the right part of his body, where his condition witnessed a great improvement -and praise be to God.

The assembly pointed out that the therapeutic team began the intervention on the second day of the patient’s hypnosis, through an intense qualification program that included exercises to reduce the stiffness, enhance the movement in the affected side, and strengthen the proper party using weights.

Advanced exercises

The assembly added that the team entered, after a month of advanced exercises, the technique of “restriction therapy” to motivate the affected party, followed by the stage of “kinetic training” using auxiliary tools, which included standing and sitting exercises, then walking with limited steps.

He indicated that the patient responded to treatment, was able to walk with auxiliary tools, and he was discharged from the hospital with a significant improvement, and he was also provided with a home treatment program, with continuous follow -up to ensure continued recovery.
