The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Planning, Engineer Saad Al-Ghamdi, explained during the ministerial session the efforts to enhance the quality of the outcomes, pointing to the achievement of King University Fahd Petroleum and Minerals ranked 67th globally in the QS classification.

Al-Ghamdi pointed out that Saudi universities have entered the list of the top 100 universities in the world in terms of patents for the year 2025, which clearly reflects the growing research and innovation environment in the Kingdom.

The Undersecretary indicated the success of the “Strategic Scholarship Program” by including more than 56 thousand scholarship students, confirming the arrival of beneficiaries of services. “Study in Saudi Arabia” for more than 200,000 international students.

Engineer Al-Ghamdi added that efforts are underway to grant licenses to prestigious international universities to open their branches within the Kingdom to diversify educational options and raise the level of competitiveness as an attractive global destination.
