Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority participates in "Abu Dhabi International Book"

Abu Dhabi, April 24/ WAM/ The Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority participates in the activities of the 34th session of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, under the slogan “Knowledge Society … Knowledge of Society”, from April 26 to May 5, at the Denik Abu Dhabi Center.
وقال الدكتور سلطان العميمي، المدير التنفيذي لقطاع الشعر والموروث بالإنابة في هيئة أبوظبي للتراث، إن المشاركة في المعرض تأتي في إطار رسالة الهيئة وأدوارها في توثيق الممارسات التراثية، ونشر الدراسات والبحوث المتعلقة بالأدب والتراث، بما يتوافق مع إستراتيجية التراث الثقافي في إمارة أبوظبي بوصفها مركزاً معرفياً مهماً، ووجهة يتعاظم دورها عاماً بعد عام ولا سيما في مجال الإنتاج الفكري.
He added that the authority’s participation in the exhibition this year aims to consolidate the active and continuous presence of the authority in cultural and heritage forums locally and regionally, which contributes to enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences with the relevant authorities and institutions within the scope of the work of the authority from different countries, and the exhibition also represents a way to introduce the authority’s efforts and societal roles, especially since the exhibition coincides with the general community, and holds its message that he expressed in its slogan “The knowledge community … Knowledge of society. “
The authority’s pavilion displays a number of new publications in the fields of poetry, heritage, literature, and studies, as a destination for visitors from academics and researchers, as the authority’s publications represent reference knowledge sources in the field of Emirati, Gulf and Arab heritage studies.
The pavilion agenda includes participating in the program accompanying the exhibition through the activities of the “Nights of Poetry Program” by presenting a number of heritage and poetic events.
The authority also organizes poetic evenings, with the participation of the stars of the “Poet of the Million” program, Mohamed Al Madawi, the assistant Al -Harthy, graduates of the Poetry Academy, and a number of Nabati poetry stars, in addition to a number of books signing parties witnessed by “Al -Ghaf platform” at the exhibition.
