Dubai Chamber of Commerce launches the Slovak Business Council

Dubai, April 25 / WAM / The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three rooms operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, announced the establishment of the Slovak Business Council, with the aim of strengthening economic ties between Dubai and Slovenia, and the development of trade and investment relations across various sectors.
During the first meeting of the Slovak Business Council, which was held today at the headquarters of Dubai Chambers, the mechanisms for expanding cooperation and joint work were discussed, the monitoring of promising business opportunities, the participation of experiences and data in addition to organizing bilateral business activities.
This step reflects the growing importance of Dubai as a leading destination for business for Slovak investors, as the number of active Slovak companies registered in the membership of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce reached 134 companies by the end of the year 2024, with a growth of 41% on an annual basis, while the first quarter of this year witnessed the joining of 10 new Slovak companies to membership of the Chamber.

The value of non -oil trade between Dubai and Slovakia amounted to 3.4 billion dirhams during the past year, a growth of 38% compared to the year 2023.
Maha Al -Qarqawi, Vice -President of the Business Society Support Sector in Dubai Chamber, said that the establishment of the Slovak Business Council is an important step in the path of strengthening economic relations between Dubai and Slovenia, as it constitutes a vital platform for building new opportunities between companies and businessmen and contributing to the development of trade movement and inter -investment.
Business councils, which work under the umbrella of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, are the nationalities of investors who are practicing their activities in the Emirate of Dubai.

Through cooperation and coordination with the Chamber, the focus is on promoting bilateral trade and investments between Dubai companies and companies of these countries and markets represented by the councils with the aim of developing economic partnerships.
