The assassination of the deputy head of the main operations department of the Russian Staff

The Russian Investigation Committee reported today, Friday, the killing of the deputy head of the main operations department at the Russian General Staff, Yaroslav Mosalik, after an explosive device exploded inside a car in the Sheikhs area on the outskirts of Moscow.

The spokeswoman for the Russian investigation committee, Svetlana Petrango, confirmed the killing of General Yaroslav Musulak in the bombing of the car bomb in the Sheikhs in Moscow Province.

Earlier today, Friday, a Volkswagen Golf car exploded near House No. 2 on Nesterov Street in the city of Balkikha on the outskirts of Moscow.

The Russian Investigation Committee has opened a criminal investigation based on evidence of crimes stipulated in Article 105 and Article 222.1 of the Russian Criminal Code. A team of investigators, criminal evidence, experts and clients is working on the site of the accident.

The Russian authorities have not yet referred to a possible party behind the bombing, but Kiev was previously accused of carrying out attacks targeting Russian military officials, since the Russian attack on Ukraine began in February 2022.

An unreasonable photos posted on social networks showed a car where the fire was burning, while it was stopped near residential buildings.

Likewise, footage of surveillance cameras published by the Russian Ezvisteia Media Foundation showed a large explosion in a car and fragments, while someone was approaching the car.

Since 2022, Kiev has been accused of carrying out attacks against Russian figures and officials, inside Russia and in the areas occupied by Moscow in Ukraine.

In August 2022, a car explosion killed Daria Dogina, the daughter of the extremist national thinker and supporting the Kremlin Alexander Dogin.
