The start of the International Conference of the Saudi Society for Genetic Medicine 2025 in Riyadh tomorrow.
Riyadh will witness tomorrow morning, Saturday, the twenty -sixth of April, the launch of the activities of the International Conference of the Saudi Society for Genetic Medicine (SSMG) 2025, which will last for two days at the Faculty of Dentistry at King Saud University. This conference, according to the Chairman of the Association, is considered by Professor Alia Bint Abdul Rahim Qari, one of the most important important scientific stations in the association’s march that works on more communication and documentation in the service of society in general, and beneficiaries of genetic medicine services in particular. Stressing that this important conference is one of the most important scientific conferences on the map of genetic medicine locally and globally, which keeps pace with the efforts made by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to support everything that would serve the citizen and support the health efforts of the association to keep pace with the level of the desired awareness and raise the level of citizens’ awareness and health citizens to confront genetic diseases. Professor Zuhair bin Abdullah Rahbani, the official spokesman of the association, explained that this conference has the participation of 28 Speaking of national and international experiences, who are counting on the association in the events of a scientific shift at the level of genetic medicine services in Saudi Arabia.
He revealed that the conference targets more than 300 specialists in the fields of pediatrics, genetics, metabolism, genetic researchers, laboratory technicians, genetics and interested in the same specialty from other fields of medicine.
In the same context, Dr. Talal Al -Enezi, head of the scientific committee of the conference, explained that the conference is witnessing ten sessions throughout the two days, as its first day includes a review of scientific progress and research published on precise medicine and genetic tumors, as well as artificial intelligence and its applications in genetics while the second day sessions review the developments of diagnostic analyzes and modern genetic treatments.
