4 people died as a result of a massive explosion in a port in southern Iran
The Iranian authorities announced today, Saturday, the first deaths due to the massive explosion that occurred in the port of the martyr Rajai in southern Iran, saying that 4 people were killed.
Al -Naba Babak Mahmoudi, the head of the Iranian Red Crescent, announced on official television, that the explosion occurred in the port of the martyr Rajai directly outside the city of Bandar Abbas, a major facility for shipping containers that deal with about 80 million tons (72.5 million metric tons) of goods annually.
Videos on social media showed the escalation of black smoke after the explosion and flying glass shrapnel from buildings kilometers away from the center of the explosion.

The explosion of Iran’s port
Photo footage on social media showed the injured crowding at at least one hospital, and ambulances arrived, while the paramedics rushed to a person on a mobile.
The authorities did not mention any reason for the explosion hours after it occurred, although the videos indicate that there are great flammable materials.
