Dubai joint surgery conference recommends training doctors on artificial intelligence techniques

Dr. Samih Al -Tarrabishi, the head of the conference organized by the “Inflavs Events company with the participation of about 1,000 doctors and surgeons from 20 countries, said that the use of robots and artificial intelligence in joint replacement operations is an advanced step that helps doctors perform more accurate operations, but he stressed that doctors need training and rehabilitation appropriate to use these technologies effectively while studying positives and negatives of each technology with great care, And good training on it, because it is in the end a means of help, and it must be used with high accuracy.

He pointed out that most international companies offer training programs for surgeons on devices, due to their sensitivity in the medical field, because they are used in dealing with patients.

He stressed that the International Conference on Joint Surgery (ICJR)And, which is considered an independent, non -profit organization, was established with the aim of re -innovation of medical education in the field of orthopedics, by developing innovative educational methods that contributed to improving the health results of patients globally.

Al -Trabishi announced the organization’s plans to expand in the region to include four new countries, in addition to the UAE and Egypt, and to increase the number of annual board meetings to four, as well as hold 16 training courses for joint surgery in the region in the fields of robots and artificial intelligence, to train surgeons to keep pace with the technologies of the times.

He explained that the organization will launch an innovative website starting from next year, to be a platform for exchanging ideas and information between local and international doctors, and the latest research and innovations were presented to benefit the doctors around the world.

The conference, which lasted for three days, witnessed more than 21 sessions and 130 scientific lectures, during which the latest developments in joint surgery were reviewed, including the use of a 3D printer in joint design and innovations of automated robot surgery.

Difficult situations were also presented for discussion, organizing workshops to train doctors on the latest methods of replacing the joints, in addition to reviewing global developments in sports and ankle medicine, and re -implanting joints according to the specifications required for each region.

39 scientific papers were presented, in addition to 13 research doctors, and four training workshops were presented by companies participating in the exhibition accompanying the conference.
