The UAE participates in the second meeting of the Brex Group
Rio de Janeiro on April 28/ WAM/ His Excellency Saeed Mubarak Al -Hajri, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic and Commercial Affairs and Sherba, UAE for the BRICS Group, headed the country’s second Sherba meeting of the BRICS Group during the period from 23-26 April 2025 in Rio de Janeiro – Brazil.
The meeting was held in preparation for the meeting of the Brex Group’s foreign ministers, to be held during the 28th and 29th of April 2025, and the members of the group participated during the meeting in discussions to formulate the statement of foreign ministers, during which it was agreed on aspects of cooperation between the group’s countries.
His Excellency in his interventions stressed the importance of reaching concrete economic results that reflect positively on the economies of the group’s countries, as well as the cooperation of the members of the group and the keen representatives of states to enhance economic cooperation.
During the meeting, His Excellency Al -Hajri held a number of bilateral meetings with Sherba, Brazil – the host country, in addition to a number of Sherba Group countries to discuss ways to push cooperation to new horizons and enhance bilateral relations.
