Dubai Municipality highlights the trends of artificial intelligence in the future of health

Dubai, April 28 / WAM / Dubai Municipality organized an event that carried the slogan “AI in the manufacture of occupational health and safety” in conjunction with the International Day of Safety and Health in the workplace approved by the International Labor Organization / ILO / to be the twenty -eighth of April of each year and aims to enhance the culture of prevention in the field of occupational safety and health worldwide and raise awareness of the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases.
The event, which was held at the Canadian University of Dubai, was attended by His Excellency Eng. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Acting Director General of Dubai Municipality, His Excellency Khalfan Balhoul, CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, His Excellency Butti Saeed Al -Kindi, Chairman of the Canadian University Board of Trustees in Dubai and a number of government and executive leaders, as well as a group of experts, academics and specialists in the fields of public and professional health and safety.
The event discussed the advanced global visions of the pivotal role played by technology and artificial intelligence in enhancing safe work environments in light of the accelerated technical developments and the new generation of technology in the workplace that redefines safety and welfare and sustainability and how to achieve prevention and ensure a healthy work environment through technology as well as global trends in relying on artificial intelligence as a necessity for the success of any institution that seeks excellence and sustainability She aspires to upgrade the efficiency of its operations and ensure a safe work environment.
Dr. Naseem Mohamed Rafi, the executive director of the Environment, Health and Safety Corporation in the Dubai Municipality, said that the Emirate of Dubai is one of the previous cities in monitoring the risks and instantaneous predictions according to smart and sustainable practices to reduce the threats and risks related to health and safety.
Dr. Rafie added that the Dubai Municipality adopted the employment of artificial intelligence techniques in innovative initiatives within the field of health and safety to create a safer work environment and provide a comprehensive vision of potential risks that may affect the safety and welfare of individuals in the constructive environment and in a manner that ensures continuous monitoring through sensors and smart cameras.
