المملكة: Because of the electricity cutting, the Kingdom’s embassy issues a statement of Saudi citizens in Portugal

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Portugal called on Saudi citizens in Portugal to follow the instructions of the local authorities due to the electricity interruption crisis.
A statement through the official account of the embassy on the X platform said: Due to what the Republic of Portugal is witnessing from the interruption of the electricity stream and instability of communication networks, the embassy hopes for citizens in the Portuguese territories to follow the instructions of the local authorities in this regard.
The statement added: In emergency situations, you can communicate using the Internet with embassy number.

Electricity interruption in Spain

The Spanish Ministry of the Interior announced today the state of emergency after most of the Iberian Peninsula witnessed a power outage.

The ministry stated that the state of emergency will be applied in the areas where it is necessary.

The cities of (Madrid, Andalusia and Extremadora) asked the central government to take over the public order in it.

In the same context, Spanish Minister of Transport Oscar Bennett indicated that the medium and long distance trains in the country will remain out of service today.
This is due to the power outages throughout the country, despite the restoration of electricity in some areas.
