Emirates Airlines is looking to strengthen partnership with Philippine Airlines

Emirates Airlines discussed the possibility of expanding the partnership with Philippine Airlines during their participation in the Arab Travel Market Exhibition in Dubai, based on the common goal of providing more suitable flight schedules and improved services for travelers.

The two carriers agreed to study the possibility of signing an exchange agreement on the trips between the Philippines and Dubai, in addition to a number of destinations chosen outside the gates of each of the two carriers.

The potential symbol exchange agreement provides travelers with better connection options to new and distinctive destinations outside the two current networks for each carrier, taking advantage of the advantages of a single ticket, the unified competitive price, and a unified luggage policy throughout the trip.

Emirates and Philippine Airlines will also discuss opportunities to enhance cooperation in the field of air freight through interlienal agreements, exchange best practices in the fields of land handling, catering, maintenance, and technical training, in addition to organizing joint introductory trips for major media representatives and the commercial sector.

It is worth noting that Emirates Airlines and the Philippine Airlines signed the initial Interlene Agreement in March 2023, allowing travelers to smoothly connect to ten internal destinations via Sibu and Clack, and nine international destinations across Dubai. Since then, travelers have benefited from a smooth travel experience with the ability to charge luggage to their final destinations.

Emirates Airlines had launched its flights to Manila in 1990, and since then it has continued to expand its operations to include services to Sibu and Clake.
