The municipality of Al -Nairiya Governorate recently started the work of implementing a typical sporting walk in the Spring neighborhood with a length of 850 meters on a total area of ​​13,000 square meters as part of its efforts to enhance the standards of life quality in the governorate, which aims among its axes to provide the finest levels of life, the residential environment and recreational facilities that achieve the aspirations of society and meet their needs.

For his part, the mayor of Al -Nairiya Governorate, Eng. Muhammad Al -Mutairi, explained that the model sporting track is located in the Al -Rabi neighborhood opposite the headquarters of the Rabie Al -Nuairiya Festival, and it includes sporting paths for walking, a path of bikes, shadow trees, decorations, aesthetic lighting columns, and various sessions, indicating that the implementation of these projects comes within the municipal efforts in improving the quality of life and the humanity humanity in the governorate.

He noted the municipality’s keenness to establish a number of sports and health walks, in line with the Eastern Region Secretariat’s strategy, to keep pace with the civilized and urban development witnessed by the governorate in the current period, and to provide the finest services and means that enhance its position as an integrated service province within the framework of the Eastern Region’s Secretariat’s strategy to develop entertainment facilities for citizens, residents and visitors, and to ensure a better level of life and a sustainable environment for the population.
He pointed out that the municipality aims, through its efforts, to establish the livestock of sports and gardens to encourage walking and providing security and safety elements away from the risks of cars, pointing to the municipality’s reception for any observations or proposals about the municipal services provided to contribute to the development work in the governorate.
